Acceptable Use Policy

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs all use of Jetlane Networks, LLC services. By using our services you agree to this AUP and accept that violations may result in suspension or termination without refund, and where applicable, reporting to law enforcement.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use Jetlane to host, store, transmit, or link to any of the following:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form. Zero tolerance. Confirmed CSAM is reported immediately to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the account is terminated.
• Material that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights without authorization. See our DMCA procedure.
• Material that promotes, incites, or celebrates violence, terrorism, or genocide.
• Material that is fraudulent, deceptive, or part of a scam, including phishing pages or fake login portals targeting real services.
• Material illegal in the jurisdiction of operation (Japan), the jurisdiction of the customer, or the jurisdiction of the intended audience.

3. Prohibited Network Behavior

• Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) of any kind
• Operating an open SMTP relay or open recursive DNS resolver
• Conducting network attacks: DDoS, port scanning of third-party hosts without authorization, brute-force attacks, credential stuffing
• Hosting command-and-control (C2) infrastructure for botnets, RATs, or other malware
• Distributing malware, ransomware, exploits, or rootkits intended for harm
• Forging packets, headers, or any traffic that misrepresents identity or origin
• Bypassing the security or authentication of any system you do not own and have not been authorized to test

4. Prohibited Services

• Tor exit nodes without our prior written approval (Tor relays are permitted)
• Public, unauthenticated open proxy or VPN gateway services that allow anonymous third parties to route arbitrary traffic through your server
• Services that anonymize the source of attack traffic
• Open SOCKS / HTTP proxies on default ports without rate limiting or abuse handling

5. Cryptocurrency and Compute-Intensive Workloads

Cryptocurrency mining is prohibited on shared VPS plans because it makes the host unfair to other tenants. Mining is permitted on dedicated bare-metal plans with prior notice. Cryptocurrency nodes, wallets, exchanges, and trading bots are permitted on all plans.

6. Resource Use and Fair Share

Shared VPS plans assume bursty workloads. Sustained 100% CPU, RAM, IO, or network for extended periods on a shared plan may trigger throttling. We will notify you and discuss upgrade options before any service-impacting action where possible.

7. Email Sending Limits

To protect IP reputation, outbound SMTP from any VPS is rate-limited by default. Higher sending limits are available with reasonable justification, valid SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration, and an established sender reputation. Bulk marketing email should be sent via a dedicated email service provider (Postmark, Resend, SES) rather than directly from a VPS.

8. Reporting Abuse

If you believe a Jetlane service is being used in violation of this AUP, please report to abuse@jetlane.io with as much detail as possible (timestamps in UTC, source/destination IPs, log excerpts). We acknowledge within 24 hours and investigate.

9. Enforcement

We may take any of the following actions in response to a violation, depending on severity and good faith:

• Investigation and request for information
• Warning with a deadline to cure
• Temporary suspension of the affected resource
• Permanent suspension of the affected resource
• Termination of the account
• Cooperation with law enforcement, including evidence preservation

For active, serious, ongoing abuse (e.g. an active outbound DDoS, CSAM), we may act immediately without prior notice. We will document our actions and the basis for them.

10. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

We respond to valid legal process from competent authorities. We do not provide bulk surveillance, do not voluntarily share user data without legal process, and where lawful and practical, we notify affected customers of any data request that names them.

11. Changes

We may update this AUP. Material changes are announced with 30 days notice; emergency security changes may take effect immediately and are announced as soon as possible.
